JMR PukekoheJMR qualify third for Brother 350 at Pukekohe today

We are very pleased to report our best qualifying result of the season, set in very wet and challenging conditions today at Puke. The #47 JMR Blackwoods Protector Falcon was always in the hunt today, with third place in every session, Practice 1, 2 and qualifying.

Officials nearly called qualifying off, with the track struggling to cope with the rain as the time approached for the session to begin. Luckily the rain held back enough for the 20 minute all in session. After surviving a MAJOR MOMENT on his first flying lap, Johnny Mac worked his way up to third by the time a red flag was flown to end the session with two minutes to go.

The session ended then, and the JMR team were pleased to have survived the conditions and have the best starting position for the 2013 V8SuperTourer Championship.

Tomorrow there will be three Sprint Races of 15, 20 and 32 Lap durations.
